217 Movers & Junk Removal ("we," "us," or "our") is a locally owned moving and junk removal business in Champaign, Illinois. This policy explains what information we collect when you contact us or use 217movers.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep it simple: we collect what we need to give you a quote and do the job.
Information you give us. When you request a quote, book a job, call, text, or email us, we collect the details you provide — typically your name, phone number, email address, the pickup and/or service address, and information about your move or cleanout (dates, item lists, access notes, and similar).
Payment information. If you pay an invoice online, payments are processed by our third-party payment processor (Square). Your full card number is entered with them and handled under their security standards — we do not store your complete card details on our systems.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we use cookies and similar technologies to understand how the site is used and to measure our advertising. This includes standard data such as your device and browser type, pages viewed, and general location, collected through Google Analytics and Google Ads.
Address lookup. When you type an address into our quote or booking forms, we use Google's Places service to suggest and format addresses, which means what you type in those fields is sent to Google to return suggestions.
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that help us run the business — for example, our payment processor (Square), our email delivery provider, and Google for analytics, advertising, and address lookup — and only as needed for those functions. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights, property, or safety.
